EastEnders second murder flash-forward twist ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ who dies
EastEnders had the nation in a frenzy last year when an episode ended with a flash-forward to Christmas 2023 - now fans reckon the soap is planning another one which will end in murder
EastEnders could be set to air a second murder flash-forward – and fans reckon they know who’s getting killed off.
The BBC soap sent viewers into a frenzy in February last year when an episode ended with a flash-forward to Christmas 2023. It saw six of Walford’s much-loved matriarchs standing around a dead body in the Queen Vic.
And for 10 months, EastEnders had fans gripped – with the soap dishing out several clues as to who the victim and killer were. Seven men were in the running to be killed including Ravi, Nish, Dean, Keanu, Rocky, Jack and Phil.
But it was Keanu who ended up getting murdered when Linda stabbed him in the back as he attempted to strangle Sharon. This came after Keanu walked in on Nish, who was bashed over the head by Denise, lying unconscious on the floor.
The Six then hid Keanu’s dead body under Kathy’s then-closed cafe. In a bid to stop him from ever being found, they poured concrete over his body and filled in the hole in the floor. However, the cafe has since been reopened by Nish – much to the horror of the ladies.
And following the success from last year’s flash-forward, it seems another shocking one could be happening on the soap. And fans are certain it’ll be Nish who gets killed off.
On TikTok, super fan Owen Lawrence said: “What if we get a flash-forward to February next year and Suki is standing over Nish’s dead body in the café?” He went on: “And this leads us to the whodunnit story for the 40th anniversary of EastEnders.
“And it also ties in with the conclusion of Keanu’s death because the police will have to investigate and they might dig up the floor or something… Something’s going to lead to Keanu’s body being found. Somehow that floor is getting ripped up, and it could be this story.”

Other fans of the long-running soap thought the same. In the comments section, one person said: “I hope so and feel that’s why EE made Nish get the cafe. They are showing too many people hating him. But needs to be another live episode.”
Someone else added: “It would work seeing Nish dead, having a year trying to work out who killed him and then on the 40th anniversary we see a flashback of who done it.” A third quipped: “I’m thinking Nish will be dead for the 40th like who killed Archie.”
