EastEnders ‘set for first throuple’ with Freddie Slater – and fans all say same thing

EastEnders’ Freddie Slater is clearly still harbouring feelings for his best mate Bobby’s girlfriend Anna - now fans reckon the soap could introduce its first throuple in Walford

EastEnders’ Freddie Slater could be set to find himself in a ‘throuple’ on the BBC One soap.

The cheeky chap, played by Bobby Brazier, first made his appearance back in 2022. As the son of soap icon Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) Freddie has become a firm favourite with fans.

He’s also played a part in some big storylines too, including confronting his rapist father and protecting Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) from her sicko stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).

He also had a brief fling with Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) with the pair having a one-night stand last year – despite his best pal Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) fancying her.

But in a bid to try and move on from Anna, during Tuesday’s episode (June 25), Freddie put together a romantic date for Anna and Bobby – with Bobby taking the credit.

However, with Freddie and Anna still clearly harbouring their feelings for one another’s fans reckon the soap could be set to introduce its first throuple.

Over on a Facebook fan page, one person said: “I’m getting throuple vibes from Bobby Anna and Freddie.” Someone else added: “Yea I thought that.

“Like an open relationship between the 3 of them,” they added. A third wrote: “no thanks that’s a storyline too far.”

While on X, another viewer penned: “Why don’t Bobby Anna and Freddie get into a throuple for goodness sake stop all this nonsense!” A second person said: “We need more poly relationships.”

Freddie returned the square this year after a few months away. He also brought a familiar face along with him as Laila Morse reprises her role as Big Mo Harris.

She was last seen in Walford back in 2022 when she attended the failed first wedding of her granddaughter Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Mo has since made only brief appearances on the BBC soap, having originally departed in 2021 to join fiancé Fat Elvis on a cruise.

Speaking of her comeback, she said: “I’m delighted to be coming home to Walford to bring Mo back to life. EastEnders holds such a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to be reunited with my on screen family, who are like my family, as well as old and new faces.”

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
