Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) dark side was unleashed again in Tuesday’s (May 28) episode of EastEnders after his father Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) returned to Walford.

After weeks away from Albert Square – a decision that happened after he was thrown out of the family – Nish headed back to his old home to reveal the news he is unwell with a heart condition.

Given Nish’s history as a manipulative abuser, the Panesars struggled to believe he was actually telling the truth.

In the latest instalment of the BBC One soap, Nish decided to try and get more people on his side.

After being shut down by Priya (Sophie Khan Levy), Nish then visited the café and managed to get sympathy from Bernie (Clair Norris), and then found his grandson Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) at McKlunkys.

Nish was able get his claws into Nugget and eventually, the young lad started to feel sorry for his granddad.

Fortunately, Ravi arrived and stopped the conversation from going any further.

After already telling Nish where to go, Ravi grabbed his sick father, pinned him up against the wall and then threw him into some chairs.

The situation had a massive impact on Nish, so he had to go to hospital.

There, once the rest of the Panesars arrived, Ravi listened in as a doctor revealed Nish needs a heart transplant but because he’s so sick and doesn’t have long left to live, they may not find a donor in time.

What will the Panesars do next as time starts to run out for Nish?
