EastEnders fans can expect plenty of drama as George discovers his father is hiding a killer secret.
After heading to his parents’ home for the first time in years to celebrate Eddie’s award, George is stunned by Eddie’s apparent pride in him and the way he’s treated like a returning hero by his dad’s mates. But as the party winds down, one of Eddie’s friends accidentally lets slip to George that the jury is going to love him.
Confused, George presses him and Gerard explains that Eddie is facing trial for a racially motivated murder and needs George to be his character witness. During a painful confrontation, George finally unlocks the truth about his childhood and Eddie’s racism.
Elsewhere, Johnny is horrified by the state of Linda. After a confrontation with Dean, Johnny returns and punches him, warning him to leave Linda alone. Across the Square, Amy grows more concerned about Denise’s behaviour and goes to Stacey for advice on living with bipolar disorder.
