As Denise Fox (Diane Parish) continues to spiral in the aftermath of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder in EastEnders, her emotions are challenged even further when she’s rejected by partner Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).

Poor Denise has had a hellish start to 2024. After nearly killing Nish (Navin Chowdhry) and watching Keanu get killed by Linda (Kellie Bright), Denise has been regularly haunted by her memories.

Struggling with the prospect of keeping the truth a secret for the sake of The Six, Denise’s state of mind is also being impacted thanks to ongoing relationship problems with Jack.

Coming up, Amy (Ellie Dadd) worries that Jack and Denise are going to get divorced, so she tries to get her dad to make a nice Valentine’s gesture by choosing a bracelet for him to give to Denise.

Later, however, Amy and Ricky (Frankie Day) are rattled when Denise reacts strangely to the bracelet, unaware she’s hallucinating and seeing the missing ‘D’ necklace instead.

In the week, Jack surprises Denise with a nice breakfast but rejects her suggestion of a Valetine’s night together as he secretly wants to be with Stacey (Lacey Turner).

At home, Amy continues to grow worried about Denise’s behaviour and decides to go with her to work, where she continues to act out of character.

Ricky says they should tell Jack, but Amy says no and asks for advice about having bipolar instead during a chat with Stacey, pretending it’s for a school project.

Things aren’t getting any easier for Denise, but with Kim (Tameka Empson) away and Jack selfishly focused on Stacey, is there anyone she can reach out to?

Or will Denise end up saying something she regrets as the events of Christmas Day continue to damage her mental health?
