EastEnders spoilers: Karen returns and throws The Six into a panic as she demands the truth
Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) is set to return to Albert Square and throw The Six into panic in upcoming EastEnders scenes, when she starts asking awkward questions about Christmas Day.
The Six have been left in turmoil ever since that fateful festive night, which saw Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stab Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in defence of best friend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
In the immediate aftermath, all six women vowed to protect each other by hiding Keanu’s body, later burying it deep beneath the café.
However, some of The Six have found it much more difficult to cope in the aftermath of the tragic events, and the unexpected arrival of their victim’s mother comes at possibly the worst time.
The Six are left in crisis when they overhear Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) discussing pulling up the café floor, following a leak in the greasy spoon.
This is all too much for poor Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who has been at breaking point ever since realising that her signature necklace had been buried with Keanu’s body.
After much consideration in recent weeks, she reasons that it is time to confess, and after some encouragement from Pastor Clayton to unburden her soul, she sits down to write a letter to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).
Meanwhile, Karen makes a grand entrance to the Square and instantly clashes with Nish, only to be confronted by Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) about his missing money.
Unfortunately, the money is the last thing on her mind, and she soon turns her attention to Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale (Lacey Turner and Gillian Taylforth), determined to get some answers about the events of Christmas Day.
Stacey and Kathy work together to convince Karen of their version of events, but it isn’t long before Kathy has a plan.
Worried that Karen will continue to dig, Kathy resolves to report her to the police for Albie’s kidnap.
Elsewhere, Karen remains undeterred and soon demands an audience with Linda at the Queen Vic.
With Linda having already cracked and almost revealed all to Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), could she be set to confess all to Karen?
