EastEnders spoilers: Romance clash as Martin Fowler and Ravi Gulati face tense war for Priya Nandra-Hart
Romance is in the air for Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) in upcoming EastEnders scenes, and she has the pick of not one but two different men.
Following her date with Martin Fowler (James Bye), Priya and Martin strike up a flirty conversation, though they are soon interrupted when Priya gets a text from daughter Avani’s (Aaliyah James) school informing her that Avani hasn’t turned up.
Martin and Priya immediately begin hunting for the unruly teen, and soon find her in the playground.
When Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) arrives, Avani is amused by his obvious jealousy over Martin and Priya’s closeness, and soon confides in brother Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) her plan to get their parents back together.
Soon, Avani learns that Priya has asked Martin on another date, but decides it’s time to play matchmaker between Priya and Ravi instead.
Avani feigns upset that Priya is ill, and Ravi heads over to the house, but is surprised when Martin arrives at the same time.
After seeing Ravi, Martin gets the wrong end of the stick and heads off, leaving Priya frustrated by her daughter’s meddling.
Priya and Ravi are quick to chastise Avani for her actions, before Ravi encourages Priya to ask Martin for a date at Walford East.
She is thrilled when he accepts, and the pair hit it off at the restaurant.
However, Avani hasn’t finished interfering and soon causes chaos, spoiling their date by pouring wine into Martin’s lap.
Will Martin and Priya ever get the chance to explore their relationship further without someone else getting in the way?
