EastEnders viewers’ know that a steroid storyline is looming around the corners of Walford. To address that narrative, Nugget’s actor took to his Instagram and encouraged his followers to be confident.
Regular viewers of the BBC One soap know that Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati has built a dependency on steroids. His character is following the footsteps of Denzel Danes and the guilt of kissing Amy Mitchell has taken a toll over him.
While anything that happens on-screen is just fictional but this can leave impressions on young kids. It seems like Juhaim is concerned about the young viewers and took the matter into his own hands. On May 22, Juhaim posted a carousel of two photos and told his followers to ‘be confident in your body’ amid his character’s body image issues.
She further added that Davinder Nugget took steroids due to how he feels about his body. There are so many people, especially teenagers, who are insecure and take drastic measures to change their bodies. The actor also requested everyone to understand the beauty within themselves.
