EastEnders Suki’s new woman ‘rumbled’ after Eve ‘split’ – and fans will be fuming

EastEnders’ Suki Panesar could be set for a romance with an unlikely Walford resident.
The character, played by Balvinder Sopal, rocked up to the square back in 220. As the feisty matriarch, it’s fair to say Suki has become a firm-favourite with viewers.
Since her arrival, it’s fair to say her time on the soap hasn’t been short of drama. From her relationship with her abusive ex-husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) to lying about having cancer, Suki has been involved in several big storylines.
As fans will recall though, last year Suki finally broke free from Nish to be with her true love Eve Unwin (Heather Peace). The pair had embarked on an on-and-off affair prior to Suki leaving Nish and moving in with Stacey Slater (Lacey Tuner) and her family.
Since then, the ladies have been on edge. And with tensions high, last month, Stacey kicked Suki out of her house following a row. Suki was unable to tell Eve the truth though, as she is unaware that Suki and Stacey are involved in Keanu’s murder.
Suki then went back to her former home – leaving things a little rocky with Eve. And during Monday’s episode (March 11), the pair had an award interaction as Eve declined Suki’s brunch offer.
Later on though, and despite appearing to patch things up, things took an awkward turn when Suki asked Eve to move in with her. Startled, Eve acted sheepish before asking if they could talk more about it later on.
Fans were left fearing that Suki and Eve will now split – and they’re not happy about it. One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: “Don’t like Suki and Eve not together. Best couple ever.”
Someone else added: “Hope this isn’t the end of Suki and Eve. Suki spent ages getting away from Nish and deserves happiness.” A third quipped: “Hope Suki and Eve have a good talk soon.”
However, some fans reckon Suki could be moving on with a surprise Walford resident – which would be a huge blow to Eve. Over on a Reddit thread, fans were gushing over Stacey and Suki’s new-found friendship, especially as it started not on the best terms.
One fan penned: “I love the relationship Stacey and Suki have now.” Someone else added: “I like it too, because it is soo unexpected from last year’s perspective.”
“Suki literally pretended to have cancer and lied to Stacey’s mum for months but now they have a sort of mutual understanding. Despite this, their relationship felt very natural while watching the episodes.”
However, some fans chimed in and noted how that friendship could lead to something more. The user penned: “Hear me out, I think Suki and Eve will split up and Stacey will get with Suki, can you imagine!”
Someone else added: “I did think this too at some point especially after she kissed Jack and made a comment about going off men.” A third replied: “No way, Suki and Eve are meant to be.”
What’s more, AI has also claimed how Suki and Stacey could end up together. Daily Star quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools, Gemini, to see if Stacey and Suki could become a couple.
The program responded that there are “a couple of reasons” why Suki and Stacey “could become romantically involved.” It explained how “Suki’s situation with Eve” might play into their romance.
“Things are rocky between Suki and her current love interest, Eve. This creates an opening for Suki’s feelings to develop elsewhere,” the program said.
Another reason could be the “closeness between Suki and Stacey.” Bard AI added: “Suki and Stacey have grown close through their connection to Eve. They’ve likely confided in each other during this difficult time, which could foster a deeper bond.”
