EastEnders viewers left ‘vomiting’ as they spot disgusting act in chicken shop scene
EastEnders viewers were horrified when they noticed what a naughty extra was doing in the background of a scene in McKlunky's chicken shop - and it was rather unhygienic
EastEnders fans were left feeling sick after spotting something grim in the background of a scene between Denzel Danes and Avani Nandra-Har.
The episode airing on Wednesday (February 6), which was moved to iPlayer due to a football match, saw Denzel apologise to Avani at McKlunky’s chicken shop for hitting her too hard at the Boxing club. But viewers were distracted by an extra playing a cook who used tongs to scratch his nose.
Walford residents surely wouldn’t like to find out that their favourite fried chicken shop was being sloppy with its hygiene standards. And it’s clear fans weren’t happy about it either.
Despite no real food being involved, fans were still disgusted by the unhygienic act and took to social media to share their disgust. One user wrote on X, previously known as Twitter: “Did anyone else notice the guy in McKlunkeys wipes his nose with the food/serving tongs. Yuck,” along with a vomiting emoji.
Another viewer responded with a simple: “LMAOOOO NAH” and a laughing emoji. Viewers have been speculating about a new twist for Denzel after he faced trouble last week
A group of school kids attacked him after he stood up to Logan, who had been taunting his girlfriend Amy Mitchell. Logan teased Amy about her recent mental health struggles, leading to Denzel confronting him.
However, this resulted in Denzel being attacked by Logan and his friends. Yolande Trueman tried to help but fell over, causing the group to laugh and run off. It left Denzel feeling embarrassed and helpless, so he started boxing with his friend Nugget to build strength.

He even ignored his friends and ditched Amy to focus on gym videos and eating chicken “for protein”. Viewers believe there’s more to these scenes and that a new storyline is being hinted at for Denzel. The main theory is that he might become obsessed with fitness and possibly turn to steroids after his incident with Logan.
