EXCLUSIVE: Soccer Aid’s Bobby Brazier set to be two-foot tackled by one of his own England teammates

Soccer Aid co-manager Eddie Hearn has his eye on one of his England teammates - and he's warned he might have to resort to dirty tactics to stop him in his tracks

Bobby Brazier is set to dazzle at Soccer Aid, tips one of his England teammates.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn says the EastEnders actor is the one to watch. “He’s a superstar,” he said. “He dresses like one too. He turned up yesterday in tailored trousers, no socks and loafers. He’s the best dressed, the best looking, might have to two foot tackle him.

A host of celebrities and former professional footballers will take part in the annual charity match at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with England playing the Rest of the World team.

It’s the first time Eddie, 45, and Bobby, 21, have taken part. Eddie says he’s been struggling to keep up with the young ones – on and off the pitch. “I’m stiff!” he laughed. “There’s an ice bath that I’ve been in a few times to recover.

“It’s quite social. A few have hit the bar. I ducked out. I can’t keep up with the young ones. I’m 45 this weekend. My days of celebrating are over as it takes me a week to recover.” He hopes the opposition party hard though, so his England team can take full advantage.

“Robbie Keane is the captain for the rest of the world. He’s lively. He likes karaoke. Let them go out and party. Let’s send a load of champagne to his room. “Hopefully they’ll be hungover on Sunday. Always in work mode, Eddie says he’s also using the event to scout for new business.

“I’ll probably move into music at some point,” he reveals. “I’m thinking of signing up Tom Grennan for his tour.” He told how Tom is keeping spirits up in the camp with a capella performances – while Danny Dyer has them in fits of laughter. “Danny Dyer has been hilarious. It’s like he’s in character non-stop.”

And who’s been going in with the sliding tackles? “Paddy McGuiness went in on Sam Thompson yesterday – and they’re on the same team! If that was me, he’d have snapped both of my legs. It’s lively out there!”
