When George Knight (Colin Salmon) in EastEnders was informed his biological brothers were on their way from Ghana, he felt anxious.

Not only had George never met Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) and Kobina Asare (Jonathan Nyati) before, he was unsure how much information they knew about their murdered father Henry, who was killed by George’s adopted dad Eddie.

When they arrived, George got chatting to Kojo and Kobina but wondered why Kojo didn’t have much to say. Kobina then explained that Kojo is autistic and sometimes, someone on the spectrum struggles to be themselves in new environments, hence why he was so quiet.

Also during that evening, Kojo ran away from the pub to escape a difficult moment between George and Kobina. Once George found him, Kojo and Kobina had a conversation about what would happen next.

Kobina returned to Ghana and agreed to the idea of Kojo staying with George. Since then, he has tried his best to make Kojo feel welcome but because George is learning how to help an autistic adult as he goes, things aren’t easy.

Coming up, after George and Kojo have a day out together, they return to the pub and Johnny (Charlie Suff) accidentally triggers Kojo.

During a heated conversation afterwards, Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) tells George that his brother needs to leave because they aren’t equipped to manage his needs. As this continues, neither are aware Kojo is listening.

George tries his best to calm the situation but just as he heads off to make Kojo a drink, he slips out of the pub.

When he returns, George is distraught to find Kojo missing and blames Elaine for driving him to run away.

Towards the end of the week, the police arrive to help in the search of Kojo.

Elsewhere, the newcomer wakes up in his hiding place and heads for the tube, but he’s then spotted by Junior (Micah Balfour). He tries to convince him to return to the pub, but Kojo says he wants to go home to Ghana.

What will Junior do next?
