GEORGE Knight comes face to face with a long-lost relative in shock EastEnders spoilers.
The pub landlord has had a difficult and emotional few months following the numerous bombshells dropped on him by his parents, Eddie and Gloria.
George found out he had been adopted by them as part of a baby farming scheme, before discovering Eddie had killed his birth father in a racist attack.
While Eddie was found guilty of the crime recently, George’s life took another blow when Gloria passed away after collapsing outside the court room.
And in another cruel move from Eddie, he held Gloria’s funeral without telling him the date, so he didn’t get to attend and say goodbye to his mum.
George has taken to venting is frustrations and hurt by fighting in illegal boxing matches.
But in upcoming EastEnders scenes, his loved ones do their best to stop him.
Cindy Beale – George’s ex-wife – arrives at the pub and tells his partner Elaine and daughters Gina and Anna that he intends to take part in another fight.
The Knight women try convince him otherwise but he remains firm in his position.
Gina even tries to blackmail George out of the fight, but to no avail.
Anna makes a last-minute attempt to stop the fight and leaves a message with George’s estranged son, Junior.
Later, George gets a shock when he comes face-to-face with Junior at the fight, and calls it off.
Will father and son be able to make amends? Or is there further heartbreak ahead for George?
It was confirmed last week that former Emmerdale actor Micah Balfour has joined EastEnders as Junior Knight.
Micah previously played PC Benjamin Gayle in The Bill and Jermaine Bailey in Emmerdale.
Speaking about joining Albert Square, Micah said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of EastEnders as part of the Knight family.
“I grew up watching the show and many of the characters have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, so walking onto the Square for the first time was the most surreal experience of my career!
“It’s a privilege to work with Colin Salmon, who I’ve watched with admiration for many years, and Francesca Henry and Molly Rainford, who are dynamite on screen, as well as the amazing Harriet Thorpe and Kellie Bright.
