Inside multimillionaire Stacey Solomon’s £49 a night caravan holiday as she hits back at mumshamers

It came after she was issued a warning for a 'dangerous' act in the family home

STACEY Solomon has hit back after she was shamed for going on a cheap and cheerful family holiday.

The Loose Women panelist headed to her Instagram Stories to document the fun-filled stay Haven Kent Coast Holiday Park with husband Joe Swash, 42, and their brood – where guests can stay for just £49 a night.

After arriving home, Stacey, who is a multi millionaire, addressed comments about her trip, saying: “There must be some kind of stigma around holiday parks because so many of you messaged saying you couldn’t believe that’s where we’d chosen to go!”

Stacey documented her stay and revealed the Solomon/ Swash clan had a brilliant time there, so much show the kids “cried their eyes out” when it was time to go – prompting them to book in for another night.

Stacey, 34, then claimed she was being “held hostage” by her kids with Joe, who include Rex, four, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle.

The ITV favourite is also mum to Zachary, now 15, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships.

They hunkered down in a gold tier caravan, forking out £435 for the three nights – but you can stay there for much less.

The perks of the accomodation upgrade included more space for the kids inside, as well as huge wrap-around decking.

They also enjoyed access to the resort’s swimming pools, arcade and entertainment venues as well as restaurants and take-outs.

The X Factor alumni stripped to a green costume and pulled her blonde locks back with a claw-clip as she enjoyed a dip with her brood, playing with a host of inflatable toys.

Joe also got on board, planting a kiss on his daughter as they enjoyed a paddle.

When Stacey and Joe had a moment to themselves they lapped up the views of the Thames Estuary from Kent’s Hoo Peninsula.

The family’s UK getaway comes just weeks after Stacey decked out their Pickle Cottage pad ready for Easter.

She also scooped huge praise after showcasing her “real body.”

Dog drama

Yet it was the family’s pooch that became the unexpected source of controversy.

Stacey joked how she had received around “10 million messages” about her “dangerous” move.

It came after her daughter Rose had dropped some raisins on the floor.

But Stacey assured her followers that it was all under hand as many flooded her social media page to say dogs shouldn’t eat the dried fruit.

This prompted her to write in a follow-up post: “Literally 10 million.

“This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up and they can’t be eaten by the doggies and there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their favourite spot.

According to the vet charity, PDSA, “grapes, raisins, sultanas and currants are all potentially poisonous to dogs and of eaten they can cause gut problems and in serious cases, kidney failure.”
