Phil makes a huge discovery about Keanu’s murder in EastEnders and Sharon is in deep trouble
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) has turned detective after seeing a suspicious text on Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) phone in EastEnders.
It was Father’s Day in Monday’s (June 17) episode of the BBC One soap and with no Ben or Louise around, Phil was feeling lonely.
He asked Denise Fox (Diane Parish) if he could spend some time with their son Raymond but she had other plans. With nowhere else to turn, Phil arrived to see Sharon, wanting to hang out with little Albie.
Given the fact Keanu Taylor’s funeral was literally last week, and Albie doesn’t know Phil is his real dad, Sharon was initially reluctant, but eventually allowed the two to play football in the Square.
Meanwhile, in the pub, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) was confronting Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). During a visit to the prison recently, Karen was taken aback when Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) told her that he didn’t kill Keanu, and that she needed to ask Linda why she’s lying.
Fortunately, because Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) knows about The Six, he was able to cover for his worried mum.
Listening in on this conversation was Callum Highway (Tony Clay). He told Karen that pretending to be Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) just to visit Dean was completely against the rules – but he also noticed Linda and Johnny’s strange behaviour too.
After Johnny confronted Callum in the café, he was seen talking to Phil at the Mitchell household.

Callum expressed his worries over Johnny and Linda, which was enough for Phil to make his way back to Sharon’s house for answers.
Glancing at a text on Sharon’s phone from Linda, Phil confronted the mother of his child and said he doesn’t intend to leave until he gets some answers.
