Reiss’ twisted secret exposed as EastEnders legend stumbles upon the shocking truth

Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) big secret is set to be exposed by Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) next week.

The two have come to blows recently, with Reiss fretting about being able to financially support his family once Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) gives birth, and Bianca believing her own issues with adoptive daughter Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) to be more important.

Reiss had lost one of his most valued clients, and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) suggested he speak with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), who was looking for an accountant.

When it was revealed that Sonia actually had a blighted ovum and was never pregnant, the couple were left devastated.

Next week, tensions to continue within the household as his financial situation worsens and Sonia suggests trying IVF again.

In a shocking act of desperation, Reiss hopes Kat Mitchell (Jessie Wallace) can cough up some cash and tells her that her tax bill is overdue. The blatant lie leaves him riddled with guilt.

Bianca becomes suspicious when Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) reveals that Reiss tried to sell his car to him, and with Kat also confused over his claims, she follows him to the care home where he is visiting his wife Debbie.

As viewers of the BBC One soap will know, Debbie has been in a coma since suffering a stroke in the bath, and in shocking scenes he used her money to pay for the initial IVF treatment.

During his visit to his wife, Reiss asks her for permission to borrow more money, but is taken aback when Bianca appears from the shadows.

Disgusted by his behaviour, Bianca offers him an ultimatum – tell her sister everything, or she will.

Could this spell an end for Sonia and Reiss, and Bianca’s time in Walford?
