Shocking twist at EastEnders funeral as two returning characters are hit with devastating news
The killer women of Walford are on edge in EastEnders next week, as Keanu Taylor’s funeral brings unwelcome developments for both Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
And our brand new spoiler guide also shows an unpleasant development for Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) as she returns to a bombshell.
Sharon is determined to turn up at Keanu’s funeral but the women are not sure it’s a good idea and have other plans for her.
Meanwhile, Linda is struggling to keep schtum about what truly happened and, after she makes a big decision, will the funeral be the venue for a bombshell to end them all?
Elsewhere, Yolande and Patrick (Rudolph Walker) are keen for an update on Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) and the church investigation but are rocked to discover Levi – the man she reported him to – has left the area.
And there are other familiar faces getting a nasty surprise when they come home too, with Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) coming home to chaos.
Monday June 10
As Father’s Day looms, Johnny and Elaine rally round Linda after she becomes emotional about Mick. They decide to plan a Father’s Day event in The Vic, but Linda is rocked when Bernie reveals that Keanu’s funeral is taking place on Thursday and asks to host the wake in The Vic which Elaine accepts.
Linda heads upstairs to drink where she is interrupted by a concerned Johnny. Linda lies that she’s going to find Sharon to reveal the news, but Bernie beats her to it and tells Sharon the news in The Vic as Phil asks for more access to Albie.
Sharon is shocked to learn from Johnny that Linda knew, but the pair are interrupted by a clash in the barrel store where they find Linda intoxicated.
It’s tense at No.25 as Reiss tries to support Sonia under the disapproving glare of Bianca.
Becoming desperate for money, Reiss tells Kat that she didn’t pay her February tax bill in the hope of securing the funds, but he soon regrets his idea.
Bianca senses something is up after she speaks to Kat and Jay in The Vic, and follows Reiss to the care home where she overhears him asking Debbie for permission to borrow more money. Reiss pales to realise Bianca has caught him red-handed.
After being spurned by Billy, Stevie makes plans for a Walford Father’s Day fishing trip following advice from Mo.
Elsewhere, Denzel and Nugget invite friends from the gym back to No.20 for a party, but Kim and Howie return as the event gets out of hand.
Cindy puts Ian on a new fitness regime and sends him to the Boxing Den with Peter. Peter leaves to see Lauren, leaving Junior to train Ian…
Tuesday June 11
Bianca is horrified by Reiss’ actions and gives him an ultimatum – he needs to tell Sonia or she will.
Johnny and Sharon take desperate measures to sober Linda up, before Sharon has a heart-to-heart with Kathy at No.43.
Adamant she must help her friend, Sharon books Linda into an AA meeting and encourages her to go. Sharon pales when Linda decides to speak against her advice.

Cindy and Junior arrive at No.45 with an injured Ian, but Cindy orders Junior to leave. Ian plays up his symptoms, but she soon realises Junior when Ian corroborates his story, and heads to the Boxing Den to apologise. After a heated encounter, Cindy heads home to seduce Ian.
Denzel is interrogated by Howie and Kim following his party, but Chelsea covers. Later in The Vic, Chelsea becomes suspicious by his behaviour when Denzel leaves the family gathering.
Wednesday June 12
Linda is busy preparing for Keanu’s funeral but it’s clear she’s not coping. Linda offers to help Sharon tell Albie about Keanu, but Sharon covers and insists she can do it alone.
Sharon wavers, but finally tells Albie about Keanu’s death following some words of advice from Martin. Later, Sharon is touched by a gesture from Ollie, and makes a decision to attend Keanu’s funeral tomorrow for her son…
Kim berates a returning Yolande and Patrick for leaving Denzel alone as Howie struggles to reconnect with his son. Denzel meets with Ebony but the pair are interrupted by Howie forcing a humiliated Denzel to storm off.
Yolande is worried at Levi’s lack of communication, and heads to The Vic to try and gauge his whereabouts from Chelsea.
Yolande and Patrick are delighted when Chelsea asks them to be Jordan’s godparents, but the moment is short-lived when Chelsea reveals that Levi has left Walford.
Kat spots Bianca’s upset and the pair head to The Albert.
Elsewhere, Stevie tries to recruit the men of Walford for his Father’s Day fishing trip.
Thursday June 13
Sharon attempts to attend Keanu’s funeral while Kathy and Linda hold a private memorial for her at The Arches.
Elsewhere, Denise tells Kim about her breakdown but she remains closed when questioned on the real reason behind it…
