Strictly’s Bobby Brazier ‘eyeing up next move’ amid EastEnders return and it’s not at all what people think.

Bobby Brazier was already a rising star when he bagged the role of Freddy on EastEnders in September 2022. But after his dazzling stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year, the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody could be destined for something completely different.

According to a source, the 20 year old who was romantically linked to former Coronation Street star and Strictly champ Ellie Leach since they both competed on the hit BBC dance show could be setting his sights on the music industry.

“Bobby’s big love is singing, he wants to be a star singer on a global level, and some major music execs think he could do it”, the source exclusively told OK! “He wants to be the next Harry Styles, to really be taken seriously as a proper artist. Now the world’s his oyster, he may keep up the acting but singing really is his passion.”

Bobby plays Freddie Slater on Albert Square, the son of Little Mo Mitchell, and has become extremely popular with fans of the BBC One soap. Following his time on Strictly last year, in which he got to the final with Australian pro Dianne Buswell, TV execs are also reportedly very interested in the young star.

Bobby reportedly began dating Ellie after the end of the last series of Strictly and the lovebirds enjoyed a whirlwind romance. But with the Coronation Street star on tour in a new UK theatre production and Bobby busy with EastEnders filming commitments, the couple decided to call time on their romance.

In December, there were rumours that he and dad Jeff were being ‘eyed up’ by BBC bosses for a travelogue series together, as well as mooted for future West End shows, and ad appearances. But according to the source, it may be the potential record deals Bobby is most interested in.

“‘Bobby is a triple threat he’s likeable, good-looking guy, we know he can dance after Strictly, we know he can act with the soap but now he wants to crack the pop world, and he’s got the voice to do it. He’ll charm all the girls, and charm all the boys!

“Bobby’s father has always been his number one supporter, often seen with tears in his eyes at the Strictly studio, watching his boy perform on a Saturday night, and it seems he will be no different, should Bobby take a whole new direction in his career His dad Jeff is so, so proud and will back him all the way,” said the source.

“As a family, he, Bobby and Bobby’s younger brother have had a very tough time after losing Jade, then there was sometimes a problematic relationship with Jade’s mum. But Jeff will always be there for Bobby. They’ve been through a lot – but Bobby is just a beautiful, talented boy who is destined to go far. Bobby is a beautiful, talented boy who has a bright future ahead of him.”
