Strictly’s ‘secret couple’ Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach make first public appearance as they cosy up on red carpet
Bobby spoke out on their connection with a cryptic comment
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s “secret couple” Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach looked cosy as they stepped out on the Red Carpet in London.
The duo – who sparked romance rumours following the 2023 series – beamed as they arrived at the Lyric Theatre for the Hadestown play press night.
Back in January, The Sun exclusively reported how the pair had been “holding hands on the tour bus” as they saw sparks fly – before he told us how she is “beautiful and amazing.”
On their first Red Carpet together, they coordinated in all-black, with Ellie, 22, donning a chic longline leather-look mac over her top and trousers.
Bobby, 20, meanwhile wrapped up in a dark trench coat paired with smart brogue shoes.
He wrapped an arm around Ellie’s back as they flashed huge smiles to the camera.
The soap stars were clearly happy to be in each others company and appeared to share a private joke leaving them smiling as they posed for pictures.
Previously, sources exclusively told The Sun how the pair were “flirting openly” on the recent Strictly tour.
It came after they had both reached the BBC One show’s final, with Ellie pipping the EastEnders star to the post as she scooped the Glitterball Trophy.
At the time, a source told us: “Bobby and Ellie are the talk of the tour.
“Their friendship has grown and grown, and they’ve been spending nearly all their free time together before and after performances. They’ve been having their meals together, and flirting increasingly openly.”
They added: “They’re both hugely popular characters, and make a really cute couple.
“There are also endless commercial opportunities for them as a pair because they are both hugely in demand, with the world at their young feet.
“Everyone is very excited about this hot new pairing.”
‘Beautiful and amazing’
Meanwhile, the model also heaped praise on ITV star Ellie at the TV Choice Awards.
When probed on their relationship he replied: “Ellie is a sweetheart, look at her…she’s beautiful, she’s amazing, she’s good at what she does.
“She’s a good dancer. She is a lovely lovely friend of mine.”
Then pressed on whether things have turned romantic between them, he cryptically repeated: “She’s a lovely, lovely, lovely friend of mine.”
Ellie, who played Faye in Corrie, was rumoured to have grown close to dance partner Vito Coppola during the competition, yet they were never romantically involved.
She has now teased her Coronation Street return after “growing up on the soap.”
