Suki Panesar’s reaction to Nish’s imminent death is cold as ice as her plot to destroy him deepens in EastEnders

Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) thought she was finally free of abusive ex-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) in EastEnders when he disappeared after being disowned by the family several months ago.

Unfortunately, he has now crawled out of the woodwork and attempted to worm his way back into he fold, dropping a huge bombshell in the process.

Nish told his disbelieving family that he was dying – though they insisted that this changed nothing in terms of their relationships with him.

However, it soon transpired that Nish was telling the truth, and some members of the family began to have a change of heart.

With the grandchildren well and truly on Nish’s side, it didn’t take long for them to convince Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to give his dad one more chance.

Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) was horrified, by Ravi’s sudden change of opinion – though he was quick to follow suit, much to the horror of Eve Unwin (Heather Peac).

However, it soon transpired that Vinny hadn’t changed his mind at all, but it was all part of an elaborate plot masterminded by Suki in order to get Nish to rewrite his will.

With Nish planning to leave all of his businesses to the Gurdwara, Suki and Vinny were determined to get back what was rightfully theirs by tricking Nish into leaving everything to Vinny instead.

However, it didn’t take long for Ravi to grow suspicious of Vinny’s sudden change of heart, accusing him of being after Nish’s money.

After passing on his concerns to Nish, Ravi was tasked with getting to the bottom of what Vinny was really up to.

The half-brothers soon sat down together, where Vinny explained that Ravi had convinced him to give Nish a second chance, and managed to convince him that it had nothing to do with the money.

Back at home, Vinny relayed the conversation to Suki, and assured her that Ravi wouldn’t be digging any further.

Satisfied, Suki made it clear just how unbothered she was about Nish dying, as she declared that the sooner he was underground, the better.

Will they succeed in their plot, or is Ravi more of a threat than they realise?
