Could Dean Wicks' add "murder" to his list of horrific acts?
VIEWERS have had enough of Dean Wicks wreaking havoc in Albert Square, particularly as his daughter Jade Green is in grave danger.
As drama continues this week in EastEnders, with a new romance set to cause a stir, fans believe death is on the cards.
1. Tragic fate for favourite
Jade Green (played by Elizabeth Green) rocked up Walford last year, shortly after her father Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) made his own return ahead of Halloween.
Since her comeback, Jade has been taken care of by her father as she continued to battle cystic fibrosis and underwent a lung transplant.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) has also taken action for Jade to honour her friendships with her mother Shabnam Masood and paternal grandmother Shirley Carter.
Although the cleaner is keen to help Jade while she remains in the Square, she has made it clear she has no interest in bonding with Dean due to his devious nature and bad reputation.
Despite Jean’s unwavering support, Jade’s health continues to raise concerns as, unbeknownst to anybody, Dean has been tampering with her antibiotics.
Tensions escalate between Jean and Dean this week as he risks being exposed for toying around with his daughter’s health.
Coming up, Dean leaves Jean in charge of Jade after a reporter from the Walford Gazette requests an interview with him.
However, Dean is unable to catch a break as Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) interrupts the interview, offering to give an obviously scathing character reference on Dean due to him raping his mother Linda Carter in 2014.
Meanwhile, Jean and Jade are alone in Dean’s home and the cleaner presses the teen for answers.
She soon discovers that Dean has been administrating her medication and finds the empty pill cases.
Later on, Dean arrives home as Jean is attempting to take Jade back to the Slaters, but he thinks on his feet and puts the blame on her.
How will Jean react?
While this remains to be seen, Jean is the most likely Walford resident to expose Dean for who he really is.
Many viewers of the BBC One program are eager to see Jean put Dean in his place while other soap watchers are aware this could put her in the danger zone.
“I think he’s going to try and blame her for the pills”, one fan predicted for this week.
“Not sure it’ll work, though. At least I hope it doesn’t.”
As they elaborated on Reddit, the viewer realised this could mean Jean may be in mortal danger.
“I have been afraid that Dean would try to attack her if she gets close to exposing him as well, though.”
Could Dean stoop to a new low by killing off Jean to keep Jade from leaving the Square to go to Pakistan?
2. Villain stoops to a new low
By depriving Jade of the right treatment as she continues to recover from her lung transplant, Dean has proven to viewers he is capable of anything to get what he wants.
But could his efforts to keep Jade around backfire and lead to a heart-breaking outcome?
As mentioned above, Jade’s health is fragile and by not administrating her the right medication, Dean could make things worse for his daughter… and even kill her.
The theory has been circulating online after a recent episode of the London-based program showed Jade collapsing in the Vic during her own fundraiser.
Viewers have been fuming over the storyline and, once again, they have asked soap bosses to give Dean the boot.
“Dean needs to get off my screen this is actually a disturbing storyline”, one of them commented.
“I don’t understand is Dean actually trying to kill his daughter?”, another questioned as a third penned: “Does Dean want his daughter dead or what????????”
“No but Dean is pure evil because you’re willing to risk your daughter’s life and potentially let her DIE just so she stays with you? Messing up her antibiotics and unplugging her oxygen tank? Disgusting”, another fan chimed in.

3. Deadly feud
Elsewhere, Martin Fowler (James Bye) moves on from Stacey Slater after catching her kissing a married Jack Branning and exposing the pair in a blistering row last week.
Earlier in the year, the market trader left Walford to head to Australia alongside Sharon Watts as the pair paid Michelle Fowler a visit.
This week, Martin will be making the most of his return, transforming it into a chance to start afresh with a new love interest.
But how will Stacey react when she sees Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) on his arm?
It all begins when Priya’s daughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) skips school and conjures up a plan to explain her absence.
Priya’s flirty exchange with Martin is interrupted when she receives a text informing her of Avani’s truancy and both characters head off in search for the teen.
Avani is eventually found in the local playground but Priya has no time to scold her as the young girl is amused when her father Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) is jealous at Martin’s presence.
In later scenes, she tells her older brother Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) all about her plans as she admits to trying to get her parents, Priya and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), back together.
Priya later asks Martin for a date, but Avani has other ideas and attempts to play matchmaker.
The teen makes out to Ravi that Priya is ill while Martin gets ready to grab the latter for their romantic get-together.
Both men later arrive at No.41 at the same time, but Martin gets the wrong idea and leaves as Priya is angered by her daughter’s antics.
Could Priya and Martin’s romance end before it even gets started?
While this remains uncertain as of yet, Stacey won’t be the only resident to be left seething as Priya bonds with Martin.
Although he has had his share of romance with other women in the Square in recent months, Ravi seems to be keen to give Priya another chance.
But viewers will remember that Ravi is Nish Panesar’s son after all, another tough man known for his intense and murderous jealousy.
Nish was sent to prison after he murdered a man he believed to be his ex-wife Suki’s lover.
Could Ravi take a page out of his father’s book and get rid of Martin himself?
