Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) makes a shocking demand of his mum Kat Mitchell (Jessie Wallace) in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
The outburst happens just weeks after he, alongside twin brothers Bert and Ernie, attempted to reunite Kat and her ex-husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).
On this occasion though, he’s desperate to see her reconcile with his former step-dad Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
The pair broke up when his sister Sam (Kim Medcalf) revealed he’d had an affair with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit), and then fled with thousands of pounds of his cash.
In recent weeks, Phil has clashed with his entire family, and we’ve seen him shut off from everyone else – including Tommy, who he insulted when playing football outside of No. 55.
Following that, Tommy’s behaviour has spiralled and he was a caught shoplifting at the Minute Mart.
Destined for him to get on the right path, Kat and Alfie have found him a summer job working at the Laundrette, but next week they discover that he hasn’t turned up.
Tracking him down to the Boxing Den, Alfie is shocked to find him sparring in the ring with Phil and orders him to get back to work.
After causing more trouble, he then darts off to Phil’s house, making a desperate plea for him to get back with Kat. With a huge row breaking out between the divorcees, she orders him to go home where another outburst erupts.
Shocked and hurt that her son so desperately wants her to get back with the man who betrayed her, and by him refusing to apologise, Kat cancels their upcoming holiday and swears not to tell Alfie what he said.
Will she come clean to Alfie about Tommy’s request?
