Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) may have been warned by daughters Anna and Gina Knight (Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry) to stay away from ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) in EastEnders, but she is set to do quite the opposite in upcoming scenes.

Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) was left devastated when she overheard Cindy and George discussing the kiss they had shared behind her back, but what really got to her was how unbothered George seemed by the idea of her finding out.

Cindy had threatened to tell Elaine everything if George dared to step foot in a boxing ring again, having been diagnosed with a brain condition which meant that one bad knock to the head could kill him, though George told her to go ahead and reveal all.

Days later, Elaine finally confronted George and demanded that he leave the Vic.

When Anna and Gina found out about the betrayal, they were quick to confront Cindy and warn her not to go near George again, while George apologised to Elaine and tried to win her over.

In upcoming scenes, it is Anna and Gina’s turn to try to convince Elaine to give George another chance as they enjoy a girls night out together at Peggy’s – leaving George to man the Queen Vic bar alone.

However, the mood turns sour when Cindy arrives, hoping for a tipple, but she soon senses their annoyance and decides to head to the Vic instead, where she finds George struggling to cope with the crowds on his own.

It doesn’t take Cindy long to offer a helping hand, and soon she has taken her position behind the bar, with the pair falling straight back into their old Marbella routine.

Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when Elaine arrives back, and is completely horrified to see Cindy lording it up behind her bar.

In retaliation, Elaine calls Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) to the pub, and wastes no time in telling him all about George and Cindy’s kiss.

Will Ian forgive Cindy, or is he set to break the habit of a lifetime?
