WHITNEY Dean’s exit is revealed as her wedding day is ruined by shock secret in EastEnders.
Fans of the BBC soap have been eager to know how the character will leave ever since actress Shona McGarty revealed she was quitting her role last year.
In recent weeks, pregnant Whitney has been focusing her attention on troubled teen Britney, which has caused tension between her and partner Zack Hudson.
After he discovered she had lied to him about how Britney came to be in their care, and that Whitney had paid Britney’s drug-addict mother to bring her back to London, he slept with her best friend Lauren Branning.
Zack has been full of remorse ever since, but despite his guilt, he accepted Whitney’s shock marriage proposal a few weeks ago, with the couple planning to tie the knot very quickly.
But in upcoming EastEnders scenes, Whitney goes into labour while trapped in the taco van during her hen do.
Thankfully, her baby daughter arrives safely, and in new spoilers, Whitney and Zack are a vision of happiness with baby Dolly, but Zack’s bliss is short-lived when Bianca arrives home with Britney.
Zack makes his excuses to speak to Britney – who overheard him revealing what happened with Lauren – alone where he pleads with her to keep quiet about it, but the pair are sidelined when Zack realises he failed to tell the Square about he and Whitney’s cancelled wedding.
Back at the flat, Whitney worries about Britney’s behaviour and thinks that it’s because of Dolly’s arrival, but Zack reasons it’s because of the cancelled wedding before Whitney decides to get married later that day as planned.
Lauren arrives at No.25 as Whitney gets ready and is filled with guilt after the pair share a heart-to-heart.
Elsewhere, Zack too is overcome with guilt but he covers to Martin and Sharon.
Britney is given food for thought after Lily Slater brings her up to speed on Whitney’s previous heartache and she contemplates whether to keep Zack’s secret.
Later that day, Whitney walks down the aisle with baby Dolly.
Britney joins them at the alter as the pair say their vows, but Britney can’t contain herself and reveals that Zack and Lauren slept together.
