Who is Cindy Junior’s dad on EastEnders and where is she now after Cindy Beale returned from the dead

Cindy Junior has barely been mentioned since Cindy Beale returned from the dead on EastEnders a few months back.

Cindy Williams is the daughter of Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who made a surprise return to the BBC soap just a few months back after being presumed dead. It ended up being that Cindy was put in witness protection and was relocated to Spain, where she met George Knight under the alias Rose Knight. The pair had daughters Anna and Gina together but she walked out on them when she was told she was no longer needing to be under witness protection a few years’ back.

However, in a huge turn of events, the Knight family ended up in Walford, with no idea that George’s wife ‘Rose’ had such a connection to the Square. When Cindy headed back to the Square, she was stunned to see them there but now the group are seemingly living harmoniously with one another in Walford.

Whilst Cindy has now reunited with her daughters Gina and Anna as well as Peter Beale, Cindy Junior has barely been mentioned and has yet to appear on the BBC soap, having last been seen on screen in 2015.

Where is Cindy Junior now?

Cindy gave birth to her daughter whilst she was in prison for arranging the murder of her ex Ian Beale. When it was presumed Cindy was dead, Cindy Jr went to live with her grandmother Bev and her auntie Gina.

Not much is known about Cindy Junior’s whereabouts at present and whether she knows her mum is actually alive and well. Back in September, Peter did mention that Cindy Junior had a messy break up with her boyfriend Liam. As a result, she decided to cut ties with her ex and went travelling, fuelling speculation she might not know her mum is alive.

Who is Cindy Junior’s dad?

Cindy Junior’s dad is Nick Holland. Nick cut all ties with Cindy Williams’ mum after learning she had been responsible for the attempted murder of her ex-husband Ian Beale, who is also the dad to Cindy Jr.’s half siblings, Peter and Lucy.

Nick – who was played by Dominic Taylor – only was seen on the Square between 1997 and 1998, and they had met when Cindy was on the run in Italy. Nick has never returned to see his daughter, but it is believed they have met up since.

Will Cindy Junior return?

As far as we know, there are no plans for Cindy Junior to make her return to the BBC soap. She has been played by four actresses in the past, including Ella Wortley in 1998 and 1999, Cyndey Parker the year after, Eva Sayer in 2007 and most recently Mimi Keene between 2013 and 2015, when she was last seen on air.

In her final scenes, she was seen departing Walford for Germany so she could be with her boyfriend Liam, with the pair living with Liam’s dad Ricky Butcher – but not much is known about where she is now or what she’s up to.
