Yolande Trueman left in fire danger – after chilling encounter with sex attacker Pastor Clayton in EastEnders

Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) was left horrified in recent EastEnders scenes when she learnt that Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) was having a private meeting with sex attacker Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler).

Yolande was left traumatised when Pastor Clayton sexually assaulted her, so was quick to rush over and check that Chelsea was okay.

Unaware of what had happened to her, Chelsea was concerned by Yolande’s panic, but Yolande wasn’t ready to open up about her ordeal.

Instead, Yolande told Chelsea that she had had a vivid dream a few weeks ago, which had caused her alarm for Chelsea. She insisted that everything was fine and urged Chelsea to forget about it.

Later, Yolande was startled when Pastor Clayton approached her in the Square, and informed her that he had heard about her panic earlier.

Yolande put her foot down and insisted that the family would be getting Jordan baptised at a different church, though Pastor Clayton told her that it wasn’t her decision to make.

Back at home, Yolande said a prayer, where she revealed that she no longer felt loved or protected..

However, she was soon interrupted by the fire alarm, as it became clear that the dinner was badly burning and the room was filling with smoke.

The noise drew Patrick Trueman’s (Rudolph Walker) attention, and he soon came to see what was going on.

As Yolande lied and said that she must have dosed off, Patrick insisted that she see a doctor, and Yolande agreed.

Will she open up to the doctor about her sexual assault trauma?
